Fees -- Coaching:
I like to work with my consulting clients on a monthly retainer.  This way, you can feel comfortable calling or emailing me at any time, without being concerned about whether you’re exceeding your budget.  There’s no contract, and the relationship can be terminated at the end of any month by either party.

Depending on your needs, there are usually one, two, or three scheduled on-site consultations per month plus unlimited emails and phone calls.  In addition to that personal face-to-face contact, I may also do outside research on subjects relevant to your business or your industry.   My time can (and often does) include staff interviews and one-on-one coaching sessions with you and your employees; sitting in on occasional staff and strategic planning meetings; meeting with outside consultants on your behalf to help arrange financing or plan marketing and advertising; and monthly reviews with you of your financial statements.  Basically, it includes everything that needs to get done.

Each business’s retainer is based on the complexity of the business, and by what I estimate is going to be my involvement with the business.  Quite obviously, a sole proprietor with income of less than $100,000/year, is going to be at the low end of the scale, whereas a manufacturing and distributing company with annual income of $20,000,000 and offices in four states is going to be at the high end.  Fees range from $300 to $2,000 per month.

In the final analysis it’s the results that count.  Basically, you and I collaborate on doing whatever it takes to make sure that your business is an increasingly profitable, robust, thriving enterprise.  I concentrate on collaborating with you to make your business easy and fun for you to run, giving you more time to spend with your family and on personal projects and, ultimately, a comfortable and secure retirement.

Fees -- Consulting:
Coaching with business owners is conducted in half-hour telephone sessions once a week three times a month.  After you and I have thoroughly discussed what you’d like to accomplish, you and I agree on long-term, intermediate-term and short-term goals and benchmarks -- both for you and for your business.

The relationship is an on-going collaboration: you set the goals and the pace, and I provide an outside perspective based on my many years of experience in owning and running a wide range of small businesses.

The fee for coaching is $345/mo., with an initial three-month commitment.  After the first three months, it’s on a month-to-month basis, and can be terminated at the end of any month by either party.  There is no contract.
